Allergy Information:
Cupcakes are produced in a kitchen that also handles peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, corn, gluten, eggs, sesame and soy—cross contamination is possible with these ingredients and we cannot guarantee that any product is free of these ingredients. Pistachio cupcakes contain both pistachios and hazelnuts. Vanilla cupcakes do not contain nuts, but are prepared in the same kitchen using shared tools and ingredients as the pistachio cupcakes. Do not consume if you have a life-threatening allergy.

About the Bake Sale:
We’ve been fortunate beneficiaries of a wide array of opportunities and the many ways in which access to art programs, mentors, and other catalysts of inspiration have enabled us to bring joy, fun and beauty to ourselves and to others. We have banded together to seek a means of inspiring young people to experience creativity through the non-conventional art medium in which we work: cake.
We will individually hold a fundraising bake sale in our respective cities and collectively donate the combined profits to the nonprofit organization, Young Audiences Arts for Learning.
Help us inspire and empower youth to engage in creative enterprises!

What are illusion cakes?
Illusion cakes are essentially custom cakes that look like anything but actual cake. Mini hamburgers that are actual chocolate cake, picnic baskets that are funfetti cake—the sky’s the limit!
How much do your cakes cost?
Cakes are priced on a case-by-case basis. Every cake is a completely custom piece of edible art, and because of that, there is no standard pricing. There are many factors that go into pricing a cake, which include the cost of specialty ingredients, creating internal structures or supports, and the estimated hours of baking and decorating time to bring your custom cake to life.
How far in advance to I need to order a cake?
A good rule of thumb is that it’s never too early to place an order! Most people book between 4–6 months out from their event date. Because of the time it takes to order specialty ingredients, I request that orders are placed at least one month from the event date. Any order placed within less than one month from the event date is subject to an additional rush fee.
Do you deliver?
Yes! I currently deliver in the greater Charleston area, including downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, James Island, Johns Island, Seabrook Island and Kiawah Island. The delivery fee is calculated based on mileage. Delivery outside of the Charleston area is offered on a case-by-case basis only (contact me for more details).
Do you offer anything other than sculpted cakes?
Sculpted, novelty cakes (also known as illusion cakes) are my specialty, and at this time I don’t offer traditional tiered cakes, sugar cookies, or other decorated baked goods, with the exception of gingerbread houses during the holiday season. If you’d like more information on having a custom gingerbread house made, please contact me for more details.
What information do you need from me to give me a quote?
The basics are a) the date of the event, b) roughly how many people the cake will need to serve, c) any ideas on the cake or party theme that you’re looking for, d) if the cake needs to be delivered and the delivery address, and e) the type of cake you’re looking for —the more information, the better!
